At Nihon Expat Connect (NEC), our team is composed of seasoned professionals who have lived in Japan for over five years, with some members having even more extensive experience. Our team members possess excellent driving skills and a deep understanding of Japanese culture, geography, and language, making us well-equipped to provide exceptional tour and travel services.
Our expertise is backed by our strong educational backgrounds and professional experiences. We work with renowned companies in Japan, including NTT Communication, Fujitsu, Softbank, and Mainichi Newspaper. This exposure to international and prestigious Japanese firms has enriched our knowledge and capabilities.
While guiding tours is not our primary profession, it is a passion we pursue during our free time. We enjoy showing our friends from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and other foreign countries around Tokyo. Our dedication to this endeavor is driven by our desire to share our love for Japan and help others discover its beauty and culture.
My inspiration for starting Nihon Expat Connect (NEC) stems from my deep love for travel. In Bangladesh, I have visited all 64 districts while providing teacher training, and in Japan, I have explored over 20 prefectures through solo and group travels. This passion for discovering new places and cultures motivated me to share my experiences and knowledge with others.
When I arrived in Japan, I noticed many Muslim and foreign residents who lacked the courage, time, or proper planning to venture beyond Tokyo and experience the beauty of Japan. Many faced challenges such as language barriers, finding Halal food, and locating prayer spaces, which deterred them from exploring the country.
Driven by a desire to serve the foreign community, I envisioned NEC as a solution to these challenges. Our mission is to provide proper guidance and support, ensuring safe, hygienic, and affordable travel experiences. By addressing these barriers, we aim to encourage more people to explore Japan's wonders, fostering a sense of adventure and cultural appreciation.
At Nihon Expat Connect (NEC), our mission is to provide a friendly and casual service that feels more like traveling with family and friends rather than just hiring a driver. We go beyond simply taking you to tourist spots; we offer a warm, welcoming experience designed specifically for foreigners. Our team speaks English, Bengali, Hindi, and Urdu, ensuring clear communication and a comfortable journey.
While this is not our primary profession, we approach it with a high level of professionalism. We take photos, create well-thought-out travel plans, and share stories from our trips on our website, setting us apart from other tour services. Our commitment is to make Japan more foreigner-friendly, helping to grow and support the expatriate community, particularly Muslims. However, we are dedicated to serving various communities based on their unique needs and requests.
