Subject: Fall Outing (Friday!)
To all,
I am sending out the pairings for this "scramble" event at Little Bennett on Friday. If your name is supposed to be on this list and isn't (or isn't supposed to be and is) just let me know.
This is a team event - so use the best shot and everyone on the team can hit from that spot (2 club lengths.) In lieu of mulligans we are handing out a 2' piece of string that can be used on each hole (further explanation will be on each cart.) It's a shotgun start at 9:30, so everyone will tee off at the same time.
Teams with 3: rotate the extra shot per hole (so one person takes the extra shot all the way through the hole and then the next person takes 2 shots on the next hole.)
Teams with 2: Lucky you! You both get two shots to get it right - and you still use the best of the 4 shots!
There will be prizes for "Best Dressed Man" & "Best Dressed woman" (so wear something loud and special,) and then 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the team competition. We will give out drink tickets and have a great buffet after our round.

Subject: NIHGL Fall Outing Guests
I forgot to mention that you can bring guests outside of the league members to the Fall Outing (just make sure they wear pants!)
The price for guests will be $100 and includes ALL perks we will be giving to members (prizes, giveaways, drinks, etc.)
So walk down your neighborhood streets with a huge, hand-painted sign that says "Come to our NIHGL Fall Outing!" (you should be able to get a few weirdos to join in the fun.)

The NIH fall outing will be Friday, Oct. 8th at Little Bennett Golf Course. It will be a 9:30 shotgun start. Format will be a 4 person scramble. Details to follow.
