My journey into mathematical olympiad
During my school years in Azerbaijan, with the support of my teachers and my own efforts, I prepared for math contests. I was growing mathematically with these supports. However, I was also looking for more advanced IMO-style preparation. In search of such opportunities, in 2023, I came across AMMOC, an international math circle. I am very grateful that Yaashaa Golovanov, director of AMMOC, admitted me at AMMOC under 'talented but economically disadvantaged student.' I had the privilege of attending unlimited seminars at AMMOC. While being a pupil of AMMOC, I won the following (individual and team) international honors:
Member of winning 'Team-AMMOC' at the Princeton University Mathematics Competition (PUMAC-2024), Caltech Math Meet (CMM-2025), Stanford Math Tournament (SMT: 2024), and Berkeley Math Tournament (BMT-2024). In these team events, my teammates included Sarthak Dhobale (a freshman at Princeton), Prasanna Pawar, Raslene Labbedi, Parth Andhare, and Medha Shrivastava. Very lately, Keisha Kwok w as in our Team-AMMOC for the SMT-2025 and Purple Comet Math Meet. In SMT 2025, one the most prestigious contest in the USA, we won Distinguished Honorable Mention for our 'AMMOC Team A.'
Certificate of Excellence for qualifying to compete in AIME, where I scored 8/15, and my score on the AMC 12B was 109.5, 2025.
Certificate of Honorable Mention for Purple Comet Math Meet, 2025.
Distinguished Honorable Mention in the Algebra paper and Honorable Mention in the Geometry paper of the Berkeley Math Tournament, 2024.
Honorable Mention in the algebra and Honorable Mention in the geometry paper of the Stanford Math Tournament, 2024.
Certificate of Distinction in Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge of the Canadian Mathematical Society, 2024.
Certificate of Distinction in the Australian Mathematics Competition of the Australian Mathematics Trust, 2024.
