A mathematician, physicist, and programmer in training.
I am Nihad Hashimov. I am an incoming freshman at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea. KAIST has offered me a full scholarship that covers my tuition and entire logistic expenses. I will major in pure mathematics with a minor in theoretical physics. I am also one of the 'distinguished protégés of AMMOC, an international math circle,' where I received my structured and advanced training in mathematical olympiads and early career research experience in pure mathematics. In addition to these, I was offered admissions and scholarships by the leading fundamental research universities, such as the University of Edinburgh, HKUST, and the University of Hong Kong. My academic interests range from pure mathematics and theoretical physics to programming. I am keen on taking an academic route-to obtain a PhD in mathematics and mathematical sciences and continue to advance the boundary of the sciences and collective human knowledge.
