What was Abby like as a child?
The early life of Abby Brown is not known. Because of how often she deletes her old phases, nothing that is older than a few months in on her Facebook and everything is through word of mouth.
Abby Brown was born on September 12, 1993... Or was she? Although she claims to be conveniently born the same year that 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' was released, it has been speculated that she is lying about her age. Several people that know her in real life have come out and called her out on lying about her age, saying that she is closer to being 30 than the age that she claims to be. Upon further research by looking in Pennsylvania public records, however, every single website confirms the idea that Abby is 23.
Abby's Facebook page says that she lives in a town called Lingonier, Pennsylvania and says that it is her hometown as well. At the time being, Abby has mentioned that she does not live with her parents but also doesn't live with her on-again-off-again boyfriend either.
Because of how sporadically Abby changes through phases, there is not much information known about her before she was discovered through her rapping videos. During some time in her past, she did get a license for cosmetology.
There is a video that does show pre-orange haired Abby saying goodbye to her father after he retired from working at a local news station.
Abby herself has confirmed that she attended a "Jesus camp" at some point in her life. She hasn't mentioned exactly why she went or when she went, but she has mentioned that she is a believer of Jesus and God. It is believed by some that she went between the "Bone Daddy" and "Rat's Nest" phase because her opinion changed about gay people.
Someone has commented on one of Abby's photos reminiscing about a time before her 'Nightmare Before Christmas' obsession where she used to be trans. This is uncomfirmed and there is no further proof beyond censored screenshots, so this is only a rumor until further information can be found about this topic. This could be a reason why she was sent to Jesus Camp, because her family has been publicly problematic in the past.
