Guilford Backpack Ministries
Guilford Backpack Ministry is a 100% volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide food and basic necessities to students in need in northern and northwest Guilford County area schools. Our dedicated volunteers have worked diligently to help fight childhood hunger in our area since 2010.
Opportunity Types:
- weekly packs (daytime)
- monthly packs (evenings)
- food drives (school, community)
- community events (ie RidgeFest, Summerfield Founders Day, etc.)
- open houses (August)
- snack packs organized by clubs/athletic teams/scouts
- sorting and inventory
- promotion/education of GBM (table setup outside of grocery stores)
- Christmas Store (Dec)
