Mariem Bahjaoui ("we," "us," or "our") operates Nightbound for Dawnwalker ("Nightbound," the "App").
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use Nightbound, including information processed through third-party advertising and consent services integrated into the App.
By using Nightbound, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Nightbound is designed primarily as an offline planning and tracking utility.
Information you create within the App, such as:
journey plans;
daily tasks;
notes;
quest records;
build plans;
progress and checklist information; and
other user-created planning data
is currently stored locally on your device using Apple's local data-storage technologies.
We do not currently operate a Nightbound user-account system or backend service that receives or stores this user-created planning data.
Deleting the App may result in the deletion of locally stored Nightbound data, subject to the behavior of your device, operating system, and any backup services you use.
Nightbound uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
Google and its advertising partners may process certain information in connection with serving, measuring, limiting, securing, or personalizing advertisements, depending on your location, consent choices, device settings, and applicable law.
Such information may include technical information such as:
device and app information;
IP address;
advertising-related identifiers where permitted;
approximate location derived from technical information where applicable;
ad interactions;
diagnostic information; and
other information processed by Google Mobile Ads in accordance with Google's policies.
The exact data processed may vary depending on your consent choices, Google's services, applicable privacy laws, and the configuration of the advertising SDK.
Nightbound does not use advertising data to create its own user account profiles.
Nightbound uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising-related privacy and consent choices where required.
Depending on your region and applicable law, you may be presented with a consent message that allows you to make choices regarding advertising-related data processing.
Where required and available, Nightbound may also provide a Privacy Choices option inside the App that allows you to review or modify applicable privacy choices.
Your available options may vary depending on your location and the requirements communicated by Google's consent platform.
Nightbound's current advertising configuration is designed not to request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
Accordingly, the current version does not intentionally request access to the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) through an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
If Nightbound's advertising or tracking practices materially change in a future version, we will reassess applicable consent, disclosure, and permission requirements and update this Privacy Policy where appropriate.
Nightbound may use third-party services that process information under their own privacy policies.
The primary third-party advertising and consent services currently integrated into Nightbound are:
Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
Google's processing of information is governed by Google's applicable privacy policies and terms.
Nightbound may provide links to external websites or reference sources, including websites operated by game developers, publishers, or editorial sources.
When you choose to open an external website, you leave Nightbound and become subject to that website's own privacy practices and terms.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, availability, or content of third-party websites.
The current version of Nightbound does not require you to create an account with us.
We do not intentionally request access to your:
contacts;
microphone;
camera;
photo library;
precise location;
health data; or
financial information
for Nightbound's current functionality.
This does not mean that third-party advertising providers process no information. Advertising-related processing is described separately above.
Nightbound is not specifically designed or directed toward young children.
We do not knowingly operate a Nightbound account system for collecting personal information directly from children.
Third-party advertising and consent services may apply age-related and regional restrictions according to their own policies and applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us using the address below.
User-created journey, task, quest, build, and progress information is generally stored locally on your device and remains there until you modify or delete it, delete the App, or it is otherwise removed through device or operating-system behavior.
Information processed independently by third-party services is subject to those providers' retention policies.
We take reasonable measures when designing Nightbound to limit unnecessary collection and transmission of user information.
However, no software, device, network transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information, including rights relating to access, deletion, correction, restriction, objection, or consent.
Because Nightbound's user-created planning information is currently stored locally rather than in an account on our servers, we generally do not possess a server-side copy of that content.
For information processed by third-party providers such as Google, applicable requests may need to be exercised directly through the relevant provider.
You may contact us if you have questions about privacy practices within Nightbound.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Nightbound's features, advertising configuration, third-party services, legal requirements, or privacy practices change.
When material changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and take other measures where required by applicable law.
