hi, i bet you have created a model on c4d and when you export it to blender the character deforms in an anomalous and funny way
You are lucky to be here, i will explain to you in an easy way what you need to do before exporting the model from c4d to blender
See this model in the image below, it looks like a fine model, WRONG!
This model has many errors and i don't mean too many polygons or that the model is nsfw
There can be several factors that can act on the esportin, for example BONES
This model has many errors and i don't mean too many polygons or that the model is nsfw
during the export of the model the bones must be prepared in order not to have errors as in the example
This model has many errors and i don't mean too many polygons or that the model is nsfw
Select all the bones that the model has and put in line with the Y axis as in the example here and click " ALIGN "
Now, during the export of the model, you will no longer have problems with badly positioned bones
But now the model will be all twisted (this only happens to the people who have made the bind between the bones and the model) no problem there is also the solution for this
As already said before, putting the bones in order this happens
You will think, "now I have to do the model over again thank you very much", nope, the only thing you have to do is click on the model that is not in its place click "weight expression" and go to click "set bind pose" if all goes well and you have not moved anything the model will be as good as new and it will be as if you have not made any changes
Now if there are no other problems you are ready to export the model
To export the model from c4d to blender it is very simple now, first go to file after which go to exporting done this select FBX
After doing this, you need to open blender and insert the fbx file into it
