1. Information We Do Not Collect
Naija Business Calculator is designed primarily as an on-device utility application. We do not require user accounts, logins, or registration.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, bank account details, or physical address.
- We do not collect, store, or transmit your calculation inputs, business numbers, invoices, or financial figures. All calculations and saved history/favorites remain stored locally and privately on your device.
2. Information Collected Automatically (Third-Party Services)
To provide free access to our calculators and support app development, we integrate trusted third-party advertising and analytics services:
A. Google AdMob (Google LLC)
Our App uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, app open, and rewarded advertisements. AdMob may collect and process certain non-personally identifiable device data, such as:
- Device Identifiers: Advertising Identifier (IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android).
- Technical Information: Device model, operating system version, carrier, network connection type, and screen dimensions.
- Coarse Location Data: General geographic location (country or city level derived from IP address) to serve relevant local ads.

Any automated technical information collected via third-party service providers is used solely to:
- Deliver, monitor, and optimize in-app advertisements.
- Diagnose technical issues, performance glitches, and crashes.

4. Local Storage on Your Device
The App stores user preferences, favorite calculators, and recent calculation history locally on your device using standard platform storage (UserDefaults on iOS and SharedPreferences on Android). This data is never uploaded to any remote servers and can be cleared at any time by clearing app data or uninstalling the App.
5. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS devices running iOS 14.5 or later, you have full control over whether AdMob can use your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for personalized advertising. You can choose to allow or deny tracking when prompted, or adjust your preferences at any time in:
iOS Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Tracking -> Naija Business Calculator.
If you opt out of tracking, you will still be able to use all features of the App and will see non-personalized ads instead.
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Because all your calculations and business data stay locally on your device, your financial information remains under your direct control. Third-party network communications (such as ad requests) are secured using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS encryption.
