As tends to happen for me every 10 years of so, I got quite seriously ill, with a bad lung infection this time. I was rushed to the intensive care ward of UZ Brussels Hospital, and stayed there under the expert care of the nurses and doctors there. Thereafter, I was moved upstairs to the Pneumonology Nursing Ward, with the expectation that I stayed there, always with a supply of oxygen to my nose. for the following 3 weeks or so.
I decided to discharge myself in a little over a week. I have things to do!
Meanwhile, the people in the hospital did all sorts of scans and tests on me, in the whole, and in parts.
Here are some of their results.
