As my college journey begins to reach its sunset - I received the immense privilege to Captain the Boomer Rocket Team. What follows is a recounting of the journey, me and this wonderful team got to experience!

Every year, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) hosts the Student Launch Challenge in an effort to both advance student STEM careers, and to bring broader STEM awareness and engagements as parts of its core tenants.
With that in mind then - the challenge each year changes to better reflect the challenges faced by the world, and to engage students in STEM subjects they may not be familiar with. For the year 2026 NASA has challenged us to carry the STEMnaut Habitat for Agricultural Study (HAUS) - The idea is to construct a two piece system, which both contains a habitat as well as a sample collection and testing apparatus (which is to be operated autonomously!).
