Painting competition

After last years success, we are happy to invite you to NGT painting competition 2026

We encourage everyone who wants to exhibit their models to participate in the competition. This is a low threshold competition so all miniatures are welcome and no miniature is too bad

for 2026 we want to separate the competition into 2 parts, 1 determined by the public and 1 determined by a panel of judges

We are running with 5 categories in the public and panel-judged competition.

Public-judged will be the best painted miniature in every categorie

Single miniature
Monster
Vehicle
Unit 3 to 10 miniatures
Diorama
Bust, large scale etc

On the panel judged competition we are running the best painted miniature across the 5 categories ranged from 3rd to 1st place

Participants/visitors are given ballots where they vote for the winners for the various categories.

We would prefer that participants register by 01.05.2026, but we can accept registration at the venue from 09:00-16:00 on Saturday. The miniatures will be on display until 15:30 on Sunday. After that, the votes will be counted and the judges' decision will be made. The prize will be announced at 16:45, Sunday May 3rd
