This is an orientation to Google Classroom, a forum that makes it easy to send out and receive documents.
NOTE ON LANGUAGE While it is called “Google Classroom” and uses language like “student” and “instructor”, we want to emphasize that we are just using the platform to facilitate document distribution. We want to foster an equal and collaborative environment, and we acknowledge that the language used on the platform can hinder that goal. We view each participant as an equal collaborator in our meaningful research!
Access to Google Classroom comes with your Google account, as it's a Google Application. You can access it through your Google Drive or you can put in "Google Classroom" in your search bar, and the link to it should pop up! If you are having any issues, please let one of the team members know.

The main section of Google Classroom is the Stream. This is where lab announcements will be posted and where you can find the worksheets and forms we will use in our workshops. Weekly updates will also be posted, which will include what was learned or reviewed and results of live polls from the workshop that week.
Alternatively, you can use the Classwork section (found on the tab next to the Stream). Here, all assignments are organized by workshop, in case you prefer that forum.
