aheno

real name:  dollthing.jpg

status: in game

spawns: naturally

speed: 30 - 50

type: png

gender: female

species: doll

scary: yes

tags: none

date added: july 17th, 2022 (nn_mall floor 2 update)

appearance: aheno is a white faced female doll with transparent eyebrows, crooked and small nostrils, a bloody mouth and eyes and bad teeth. the top of her head is blurred out. the bottom of the image shows a static overlay. her image also has a background, showing a completely black background, though in the lower left corner is something green.

audio: her audio sounds like a broken japanese text to speech bot. in english, she's saying "hello, what is your name? are you scared? scared? don't say goodbye, you will be with you forever, don't be afraid, you'll be fine".

old audio: aheno used to not have audio. this was a bug.

jumpscare audio: her jumpscare audio is of a low quality girl screaming. she has the same jumpscare audio as angry munci, hopper, morevariedpathfinder, pathfinder, pinhead, qubert, reverse munci, richard boderman, this man, variedpathfinder and yoshie.

image origin: in 2004 on 2chan, someone posted a pictue of a doll in a horrific, broken state. in 2007, someone would post another thread on 2chan with an edited version of the picture (aka the picture used for aheno) saying "this girl looks horrible. do your magic. make her cute". you can learn more about the origin here and here.

audio origin: the audio was made using a text to speech website named "yukkuri text to speech". the audio in nico's nextbots is heavily edited to sound lower pitched and more drier.

jumpscare audio origin: the jumpscare audio is from a vinyl record made by disney named "chilling, thrilling sounds of the haunted house". it is heard at 2:26 of the vinyl.
