CREA: Crossroads of Research and Experience of Art

In collaboration with Aleksandra Igdalova and Rebecca Chamberlain (from Goldsmiths, University of London), Letizia Palumbo and Tobiasz Trawinski (from Liverpool Hope University) and Gemma Schino (from the University of Groningen), we co-organised CREA: Crossroads of Research and Experience of Art a one-day summit of talks, activities, and workshops.
The goal of this interdisciplinary event is to facilitate expertise exchange, enabling productive collaboration and innovative arts/aesthetic research in academic and real-world settings.

TheoArtistry: Text & Image scheme
Toghether with Dr Rebekah Dyer, I coordinated the TheoArtistry: Text & Image scheme hosted by the Institute for Theology, Imagination and the Arts, University of St Andrews. Our aim was to bring together visual artists and researchers in a multifaceted research project exploring the areas of overlap between academic and artistic research. The participating scholars and artists worked collaboratively within interdisciplinary groups to research and discuss ideas for the formation of new text-inclusive artworks. As a result, in December 2021, TheoArtistry hosted a collaborative exhibition created for the scheme to investigate the cognitive implications of text-inclusive artworks. VSAC 2022_Aug_27_2022.mp4Since October 2020 I collaborated with Dr Marina Iosifian to create a virtual space facilitating multidisciplinary dialogue around core issues relevant to the Arts. Recording of our ArC seminars are also available on our Youtube channel.
