week 16: Finished up personal website by taking care of minor details/adding links. Edited class repo by uploading previous worked on codes for all the labs and our final project.
week 15: Worked on personal website by making it cleaner and user friendly. Updated weekly reports and contributions, and inserted a link to our group's final project website.
week 14: Finished our Final Project by writing VHDL code to detect collisions and make the bricks disappear; tested, debugged, and commented the code; created a website for our final project containing information and documentation (pictures and videos) with the group.
week 13: Met with Group 5 to further work on the Final Project and figured out how to write VHDL code to draw bricks onto the screen.
week 12: Met with Group 5 to discuss the Final Project: Break Breaker. Found an existing project that was very similar from Rutgers
week 11: Completed FPGA Lab 4 (Hex Calculator), FPGA Lab 5 (DAC Siren), and FPGA Lab 6 (Video Game PONG)
week 10: Completed FPGA Lab 4 (Hex Calculator), FPGA Lab 5 (DAC Siren), and FPGA Lab 6 (Video Game PONG)
week 9: Completed FPGA Lab 2 (Four-Digit Hex Counter) and Completed FPGA Lab 3 (Bouncing Ball); modified the code for FPGA Lab 3
week 8: completed FPGA Lab 1 (Seven-Segment Decoder)
week 7: Read and took notes on chapter 12, Looping Constructs. Looked at some helpful links to further expand my knowledge on loops.
week 6: Reviewed other students' weekly reports and took note on how to improve my own weekly. Also read chapter 10 and 11.
week 5: Created a group chat with my project group and assigned group leaders; reviewed classmates' contributions
week 4: I joined the FPGA group for CPE-487 where we will work on FPGA projects throughout the course. I also read chapters 6-9 and took notes from the textbook, Free Range VHDL. Ran the 4-to-1 Multiplexer and 1-to-4 Demultiplexer examples
week 3: read and took notes up until chapter 6 (VHDL operators) and created groups for future projects
week 2: took notes for the first 4 chapters of the textbook as well as making sure i have correctly installed GHDL
week 1: reviewed the course syllabus and went through the course website. Additionally, I read the first chapter of the textbook and installed GHDL on my laptop. As well as set up a website for weekly updates for the course
