"The world of art is not that of immortality, it is that of metamorphosis." - André Malraux
This quote from the French art theorist, Malraux sums up well the approach in which I have been engaged for so long and which is essentially based on the exploration of the unknown lands of the soul. Access to this dimension, in its immateriality, silences our logic to let the emotions speak; giving it corporeality by means of a pictorial language - an imagery carrying messages that take on mythical, emblematic and often archetypal meanings. It is then the task of each viewer to engage this conversation with the painting and find the meaning for their own journey..
Another important part of my artistic activity is devoted to poetry writing. For me, Poetry is another way to express and materialize the "reality of emotions, impressions and feelings” by using words instead of paint brushes or other tools. Under the Book section, you will find the category Poetry; presented there are SHARE LINKS to PDF files of already published Poetry books for your enjoyment.
