Nicolas MEYER

Since September 2022 I am maître de conférences (assistant professor) in the Institut Montpelliérain Alexander Grothendieck (IMAG) in Université de Montpellier. I am a member of the Inria team-project LEMON.

From 2020 to 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Copenhagen under the supervision of Thomas Mikosch.

From 2017 to 2020 I was a PhD student at Probability, Statistics and Modelling lab (LPSM) under the supervision of Olivier Wintenberger. My PhD manuscript is available here and the slides of the defense here.

I study Extreme Value Theory. I am interested in the localization and the dependence structure of extreme events. My main research concerns the estimation of the spectral measure in high dimension.

My CV in English and in French (last update: April 2021).
