I am a French sociologist. Full Professor of Sociology at Paris 8, I am also a Full Professor of Sociology at the University of Geneva, where I am Director of the Geneva Centre for Philanthropy.
I have been appointed Chairman of the National Council for Antipoverty Policies, by the French Prime minister in 2023. Until then, I have serving his office with public policy evaluation and advice.
