Audition results will be posted on Friday, April 24th by 3:00 pm.
By audition number only, if you forgot your audition number or are unsure, please email Ms. Kim ASAP so you know your placement. Please note that all placement is subject to change dependent on class schedule and availability.
Dance Team:
26-27 Future Dance Team Members: There will be a mandatory summer camp as stated in the audition packet. If you are a current 6th grader, you will receive a packet from your 6th grade teacher regarding this summer camp and all the necessary information. Please be sure to email me once you receive the packet so I know you received it. If you are unable to attend summer camp, you will lose eligibility to be on the Dance Team.

7th Graders: If you are currently in dance this year and placed in beginning dance (due to lack of space in intermediate or team), please note, you will likely be used like a leader/TA in the class as well!!
Thank you to all auditioners for your interest in being part of the Nicolas Dance Family. There is always movement throughout the school year for those who show promise, dedication and growth. Auditions for the 2026- 2027 Dance Program were held on April 6th, 7th and 9th and we are no longer taking any more auditions for Intermediate & Dance Team.
If you are interested in dancing at Nicolas in the 26-27 school year,
you may inquire about space in beginning dance classes.

IMG_1827.MOVA typical audition workshop contains two days of choreography that can be anywhere from 40 seconds to 1 minute long. Dancers will be asked to choreograph or improv the final 8- 16 counts of the choreographed audition piece where dancers are able to showcase any specialty moves and show off their unique personality! On the final third day of auditions, dancers will audition in small groups in front of a panel of judges. Results are usually posted the following week by audition number (names are not posted). All three days of the audition workshop are mandatory to be placed in higher level classes.
