I was born in 1999 in Mirano, Italy, and graduated in Molecular Biology from the University of Padua in 2021 with a dissertation on metagenomics in extreme environments.
I pursued a master's degree in Molecular Biology with a specialization on Bioinformatics at the University of Padua, and I completed my master's internship with the CIIMAR Microbiome Ecology and Biogeochemistry Team.
My dissertation examined various computational methodologies for studying microbial communities in the Arctic. I worked with metagenomics data in this framework.
I am currently carrying on my research by studying arctic permafrost using metagenomics and metatranscriptomics data.
