I am an assistant professor in the Economic Geography group of Utrecht University. My research agenda focuses on how digital transformation, emerging technologies, and regional characteristics interact to shape local innovation and economic performance. Building on an evolutionary approach, my recent work studies the transformation of firms, regions and industries, particularly in relation to digital technologies like additive manufacturing.
Besides research and teaching, I am also a contributor of the LSE GILD Blog and a boardgame, rugby and surfing enthusiast.
