I am an assistant professor of statistics and finance at the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland. My research focuses on corporate finance, corporate governance, corporate misconduct, CEO and director career prospects, and ESG. My work has been published in the Journal of Corporate Finance and Financial Markets, Institutions, & Instruments.
I hold a PhD in finance from Hanken School of Economics from year 2019. I teach the mandatory introductory course in statistics at Hanken, Master and PhD level courses in statistics, Machine Learning for Finance, as well as supervise Bachelor's and Master's students in finance. I have previously taught the introductory course in Finance at Hanken's Open University.
In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, fish sea trout in the Finnish archipelago, go to the gym, and play floorball and tennis.
