Hello my name is Nicolas Ayala (he/him) but everyone I know calls me Nick. I grew up in Riverside, California which to me is a small town because I'll always run into someone I know. Growing up my dad would always come home around 5:00pm every school day because he was a teacher. I was always the student but always wondered what it was like to teach and be in charge. Now that time has passed I still want to be a teacher but I no longer want to be in charge, I want to have a good influence on kids. As I now start my teaching courses I am truly excited to see what I can be in the future. However, my only fear I have in my future is being at the mercy of my own fears, I no longer want to see myself give up when things get difficult.
