So a couple years ago I built this clone hero guitar controller based off of a design online (unfortunately, I don't recall the author to give credit to). The original design utilized keyboard switches, an Arduino Uno, a ball tilt sensor, an on-off switch, some M3 screws, and a 3D printed shell. Since then, I have considered implementing a plethora of changes and modifications:
- Joystick or D-pad for navigation
- Stiffer switches
- Alternative tilt sensor
- Migrating to an Arduino Nano ESP32
- Larger guitar shell
- Heat-set inserts
- Alternative strumming detection (i.e. piezo pickup + guitar string)
