Nick Pickett graduated from Salesian High School and was rated as a top 100 player in the state of California. The Los Angeles native was a 3-star prospect in the 2017 class and played in 45 games across his four-year career, totaling 160 tackles, two interceptions, 14 passes defended, and a forced fumble.

Nick Pickett was recruited by elite schools such as Fresno State, Hawaii, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, San Diego State, San Jose State, Utah and Washington State, but ultimately decided to commit to Oregon.

Pickett made an immediate impact on the Ducks, playing 374 snaps as a true freshman over 11 games and three starts. Originally wearing #16 on his jersey, Nick changed his jersey number to #6 beginning in the 2020 season for his senior year.

Wearing #6 on his jersey, Nick Pickett is a 6'1" 210' powerful safety that has the ability to force fumbles and execute with his tackles creating a loss of yards for his opponents. Pickett attended the University of Oregon from 2017 to 2020. In 45 total games at Oregon, he racked up 160 total tackles, 2 interceptions, 14 pass deflections, and 1 forced fumble. He spent time in 2021 at the Detroit Lions minicamp but signed with the Edmonton Elks in June of 2021.
