Julbo Shield M, 2-4:
I've had the Julbo Shield M for just over a year now and can't say enough good things about these sunglasses. The reactive lenses make moving around in these supreme, you can go from skiing through the trees to walking in the high alpine comfortably. The fact that Julbo makes these spare parts is awesome! I've broken the shields (not pictured,) one of the arms and Julbo had the replacement parts. Since these are mostly replacement parts now, I have dubbed them the Franken-Shades!

Petzl Irivis Hybrid:
These have been my go-to snow crampon for the past 2 summer and winter seasons, in the Sierra and beyond. I was initially very skeptical of the dynema spreader bar cutting or wearing fast on granite, but I finally had to replace them after a full year of continuous use. The aluminum heel did eventually wear out to the point where I didn't feel comfortable on firm summer snow. The packability of these 'pons are unparalleled, I found myself including them in my pack if I may have needed them and forgetting that they were there they're seriously that light. Some of its strengths are also its weaknesses, I would only put these on a mountain boot or ski boot. The dynema spreader bar is too flexible and not ridged enough for an approach shoe. The fact that the parts are so modular, and all the parts are available from petzl is awesome! If one part wears out or you are running a different boot for the day, you can just switch out the parts!
