Nick Horsten is a South African composer and sound designer for video games, film and television. His compositional style has been described best by Andy Hill as a "visceral style that rips the 'polite' surface from orchestral instruments and allows them to go right to the emotional core."

His collaborative work on the Honor of Kings: Kong Kong'er cinematic earned widespread critical praise, including nominations for Best Original Score  (Animated Short) at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) and Best Original Composition in a Video Game (Cinematics/ Cutscenes) at the Music + Sound Awards. 

He has recently worked on multiple video game titles including Honor of Kings World, Infinity Nikki and Relooted and contributed to music for season 2 of Ling Cage.
