Nicholas is an educator, artist, & storyteller. He lives in the Chicagoland area with his spouse and four kids. He loves the art of storytelling, whether it be in film, novel, or comic; stories play an important part of history and culture.
For over a decade, Nicholas has been teaching in various institutions, more recently he began pursuing a PhD in English from Northern Illinois University. He currently is a teaching at University of Illinois, Chicago and Northern Illinois University in the First Year Writing Programs.
As an artist, Nicholas enjoys working in watercolor, but he has aslo worked with other media such as acrylic, marker, and graphic design.
Some of his clients over the years have included Two Mile Coffee Bar and working with properties from LucasFilm, Marvel, AMC, and DC, through Cryptozoic, Upper Deck, and Topps.
Nicholas is doing his best to live out the calling he believes serves his life's purpose: to inspire and invest in creativity. Whether teaching, writing, or painting, creativity influences the way Nicholas approaches his professional goals.
Everyone was born with the ability to be creative. Creativity comes in many forms, art is just one of them. So whether someone is an artist, engineer, parent, teacher, student, mechanic, or salesman–they are creative in their own way.
