Across my architectural education, my work has explored how thoughtful design can foster community, connection, and contemplation.

In my final year, I developed a retrofit-led proposal to transform the City of Doncaster Archives into a vibrant hub centred on food, learning, and environmental care. I also designed a bathhouse in Hiroshima inspired by In Praise of Shadows by Jun’ichirō Tanizaki, embracing shadow, texture, and stillness to create a contemplative sanctuary shaped by the aesthetics of ma, wabi-sabi, and shizen.

Both projects, though distinct in context, are united by a sensitivity to atmosphere, user experience, and the shaping of light, nature, and space.
