Answers to some common questions

• How does the service work?

  • Contact us (e-mail/phone)! We will listen to your needs and provide a free no-obligation cost. If you'd like to proceed, we will decide together on a time that best suits your schedule, most of our customers drop off and pick up their items themselves as they find it very convenient.

• Do you have a mobile service?

  • Sorry!, at this time we do not offer a mobile service but we continually evaluate the market for when the time is right to do so. Stay Tuned!

•  Can you pick up and deliver my items?

  • Yes! We are happy to provide a pickup and drop off service, costs are as follows:

    1. St. Catharines or Virgil is $25

    2. Thorold or Niagara-On-The-Lake is $30

    3. Niagara Falls, Welland or Jordan is $35

    4. Outside of the above areas is by quote.

    5. We do have a complimentary pick up/drop off service (within 25kms, for work orders greater than $150)

• How long will it take to sharpen my items?

  • Our service is not a while-you-wait type of service, quality takes time. Our typical turnaround time to sharpen your items is between 2 - 3 days. Frequently our customers pick their items up on the same or the very next day! Based on our workload, we are happy to provide a custom lead time that will work for you. 

• Do you have a minimum charge?

  • The only minimum charge we have is on electric hedge clippers. No other service carries a minimum charge and it never will.

• Are your prices negotiable?

  • In fairness to all of our customers, we maintain a fixed price list to ensure that everyone is treated equally.

• I called the number posted but no one answered, what should I do?

  • Sorry we missed your call, we're probably busy sharpening! Please leave a message and we will return your call promptly. Frequently we return calls within 4 hours or less.

• I don't see my item on the website, can you sharpen it?

  • Almost certainly, YES! Our price list is very comprehensive,  but it covers only the most common items we are requested to sharpen. If you don't see your item, contact us and we will discuss how we can best service your needs.
