Welcome to the Northern Ireland Symposium on Nano/Bio Imaging & Characterization, hosted by Ulster University. This event serves as a premier platform to unite scientists, engineers, and students dedicated to visualizing and understanding the world at its smallest scales. Our central aim is to highlight the cutting-edge research emerging from Northern Ireland and our international partners, including esteemed colleagues from the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences and Queen's University Belfast. We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant environment for collaboration, networking, and discovery.

The key objectives of this symposium are:
