Curriculum

Every student in the STAE elective will receive the following:

• Academic Support

• College/Career Research

• Organizational Skills

• Time Management Strategies

The grade-level curriculum focuses on the following:

• Ninth grade-college research, binder organization, soft skills, and academic support

• Tenth grade-academic support, soft skills, college and career research, communication and advocacy skills

• Eleventh grade -ACT/SAT prep, academic support, college exploration, resume writing, and communication skills.

• Twelfth grade-college applications/essays, scholarships, and financial aid

Collaborative Support Groups (CSGs)

CSGs are a way for students in STAE to expand their knowledge by critically thinking through higher level problems and questions with the help of their fellow peers, teachers, and facilitators.
