As you proceed, please keep in mind the driving purpose of this Symposium Event:
To permanently enrich courses with an interdisciplinary component that weds a humanities-informed ethical lens to real-world issues.
To provide students an opportunity to explore Big Questions around the technology that will shape their future.
We intend for this symposium to lead to lasting enrichment of all participating faculty's course curriculum through the units and lesson plans created for this event. We hope to set a precedent for future resource sharing across institutions through publication of excellent materials in Canvas Commons.

The possibilities are practically limitless, but here's some guidance for considering topics. The aim is to create a space in your course for both YOU and your students to explore "Big Questions" relevant to the theme of Medical Humanities, Bioethics, and Bodies.
"Big Questions" are questions of ethics, morality, humanness, identity, equity, justice, etc. on current issues.
Linked below, you will find brainstorming lists offered by faculty across several disciplines and departments.
