Observations and Telescope

• Operation of Murikabushi telescope (from March 2023) and observation support with Subaru telescope (1 night in 2012)

• 5 successful proposals as a PI (ALMA, VLA, NOEMA, and Spitzer DDT)

Data Analysis and Techniques

• Data reduction and analysis of Murikabushi and ALMA data

• Constructing Blind Line-Search Script (BLiSS) with Python, and extracting BLiSS as a CASA task using an executable ‘buildmytasks’

• HYPERZ, X-Cigale (SED fitting tool), TOPCAT (tool for operations on catalogues and tables)

Programming

• Python, Linux, C++, IDL, FORTRAN, Parallel computing (MPI) using C language, HDF5 library as a result of large cosmological simulation, XML file as a result of ALMA archival query

Simulating and Modelling

• Generating mock ALMA data with user-defined UV coverage, observing time, noise level, etc.

• Monte Carlo simulation, Simple N-body simulation (completed the training course for graduate students at NAOJ), One-zone simulation as a post-process of large cosmological SPH simulation, ‘CLOUDY’ (modelling gas clouds)
