Mr. Pham's academic and professional journey has been characterized by diverse experiences and a passion for chemistry. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Science, Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City in 2014. Following this, he gained two years of valuable working experience in a pharmaceutical company - Anova Joint Venture Co., ltd before embarking on his academic pursuits.
In 2016, Mr. Pham joined the NanoElectroChemistry Laboratory (NECL) as a master's student under the supervision of Prof. Shim, Jun Ho (majoring in Electro-Chemistry) in the Department of Chemistry, Daegu University, the Republic of Korea. His focus was on Electro-Analytical Chemistry, and he worked diligently to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in this field. After completing his master's degree, Mr. Pham joined the Department of Chemistry National Central University in Taiwan as a researcher, where he worked under the supervision of Prof. Shieh Fa- Kuen in 2018. Here, he honed his expertise in Bio-Chemistry. Then, he returned to Vietnam and took up a position as a Technical Sales Manager at 2H Instrument Co., ltd, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this role, he was responsible for managing products, including laboratory instruments, and oversaw sales activities.
In 2023, Mr. Pham completed another Master's Degree in Chemistry (majoring in Organometallic Chemistry) at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, under the guidance of Prof. Francesca M. Kerton, who specializes in Inorganic and Green Chemistry. His focus was on Organometallic Chemistry, which involves the study of compounds containing metal-carbon bonds. He is also interested in Green Chemistry, which aims to minimize environmental impact by designing chemical processes that are less harmful to the environment. In addition, he was appointed as a Research Assistant in the Faculty of Medicine (working with Prof. Qi Yuan) at Memorial University, Canada (internship position). Currently, Mr. Pham is working as a Laboratory Analyst at Bureau Veritas Group (Permanent, Full-time), and a Mentor/ an Examiner at Dong Hanh Scholarship Association.
