I am Nguyen Khanh Son, currently pursuing my Ph.D. at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, Italy, under the supervision of Professor Elena Ferrari (IEEE Fellow) and Professor Barbara Carminati. My research focuses on applying artificial intelligence (AI) in cybersecurity, particularly in intrusion detection and malware detection.
I hold a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (NYUST), Taiwan, where I worked under the guidance of Professor Arun Kumar Sangaiah. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Information Security from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), Vietnam.
Outside of research, I am a gamer with over 10 years of experience playing League of Legends, which has taught me about strategic thinking, teamwork, and perseverance under pressure—skills that I often bring into my academic and research work.
I am open to research collaborations. If you are interested in my previous work, please don't hesitate to contact me.
