I am Nguyen Khanh Son, currently pursuing my Ph.D. at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, Italy under the supervision of Professor Elena Ferrari. My research focuses on applying artificial intelligence (AI) in cybersecurity, particularly in intrusion detection and malware detection.

I hold a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (NYUST), Taiwan, where I worked under the guidance of Professor Arun Kumar Sangaiah. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Information Security from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), Vietnam.

Outside of research, I am an avid gamer with over 10 years of experience playing League of Legends, which has taught me about strategic thinking, teamwork, and perseverance under pressure—skills that I often bring into my academic and research work.
