Nguyen Van Tran

Wellcome to my homepage !

I earned a PhD in Economics from Department of Economics, Monash University and hold master of Development Economics in The University of Queensland. My research aims to use data to develop the evidence base for policies with improve the life and understand the behaviour of people. I am also passionate about teaching and training the next generation. I am an award winning lecturer and author of over 10 journal articles and book chapters.  

My research interests span over several applied economics topics, especially in applied economics, environment and resource economics,  development economics, and family economics
