Welcome to my page!

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Finance at Minnesota State University, Mankato.  I earned my Ph.D. in Finance from Auburn University, and I am a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). I do research in banking, corporate finance, and financial inclusion. I also enjoy teaching several finance and banking courses with over twelve years of experience teaching at universities in the United States and Vietnam. Before joining academia, I had several years of experience as an economics specialist and on-site examiner at a Vietnamese banking regulator called Deposit Insurance of Vietnam.
