These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Ngoni and the client booking a safari tour. By confirming a booking, the client acknowledges and agrees to abide by the terms outlined below:
1. Booking and Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total safari cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
The remaining balance (60%) must be settled no later than 20 days prior to the commencement of the safari.
Failure to remit the final payment within the stipulated period may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.
2. Payment Methods and Associated Charges
Payments may be made via bank transfer. All banking fees and associated charges must be covered by the client and are included in the total invoice amount.
We also accept payments of up to 20% of the total cost via Airtel Money, offering a convenient alternative for partial payment.
3. Changes in Safari Pricing
All safari packages are subject to adjustment based on changes in park entry fees, government taxes, or statutory levies.
Should such changes occur after booking confirmation, the incremental costs will be borne by the client, and Ngoni will notify clients as early as reasonably possible.
4. Cancellations and Refund Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to be considered valid.
Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to departure, or in the event of a no-show, will result in a 70% cancellation fee, with only 30% refunded.
For cancellations made 45 days or more before the safari, 55% of the total amount paid will be retained, and 45% refunded.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days of confirmation of cancellation.
5. Change of Travel Dates
Clients who wish to reschedule their safari may do so in consultation with Ngoni. Rescheduling helps avoid cancellation penalties, subject to availability and revised travel dates.
All date changes must be communicated and confirmed in writing.
6. Itinerary Adjustments
Ngoni reserves the right to alter safari routes, climbing itineraries, or activities due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other operational necessities.
These decisions will be made solely in the interest of ensuring the safety, comfort, and best possible experience for all participants.
7. Non-Refundable Services
No reimbursement will be made for unused portions of the safari, whether due to client choice, early departure, illness, or any other reason beyond the company's control.
8. Limitation of Liability
Ngoni acts as an agent for the client in organizing transport, accommodation, and other services. While every effort is made to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, Ngoni shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or disruption caused by third parties or force majeure events including, but not limited to, natural disasters, government interventions, or transportation issues.
Clients are encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering personal injury, medical expenses, baggage loss, and trip cancellation.
9. Acknowledgment
By confirming your safari booking with Ngoni, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
