N'golo Saliou Ouattara is a PhD candidate in Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University, with over eight years of experience in machine learning, optimization, and business analytics. Originally from Côte d’Ivoire, Saliou's early education was disrupted by political instability, leading him to work on his family’s farm before pursuing studies in Abidjan. His resilience and passion for mathematics propelled him to the top of his class, earning him scholarships throughout his academic career.
Saliou's research interests focus on data science, operational research, and quantitative finance. Professionally, he has held roles at Dillard’s Inc., developing models to drive business decisions. Fluent in multiple languages, he enjoys running, travel, and embracing diverse cultures.
