I'm a PhD student in mathematics at KU Leuven since November 2023. My PhD topic is about algebraic statistics and I work under the supervision of Prof. Fatemeh Mohammadi and Prof. Henry Wynn. 

Before that, I did my master in statistics at KU Leuven under the supervision of Prof. Christel Faes and Dr. Oswaldo Gressani. My thesis topic is "Laplace Approximation for Bayesian Poisson mixed models".

My research interests lie in algebraic statistics, Bayesian statistics, graphical models, conditional independence models and causal statistics. I am also interested in application of algebraic tools in solving statistical problems. It's a great fun to play around with mathematical and statistical concepts and see them from different view.
