WELLNESS CO-LIVING
Designing Shared Living : Happiness & Wellbeing
A compact urban form is that with criteria of high density, mixed use, efficient for transport and socially and economically diverse. Hence implementation of livable communities in Bangsar is not achievable as a whole. Bangsar is a residential area which comprised of different level of social classes. Every community in Bangsar has its own common barrier for implementing livable communities. Therefore, livability level in Bangsar communities also varies due to its existing condition of public realm in different areas and diversity group of people. Wellness Co-living analyses the connection between social and urban dimensions through integrating the boundaries easing the socialization among people, and enhancing the health and wellbeing from passive to active wellness. This includes moving from not just preventing “sick buildings”, but building homes that enhance health and wellbeing; management and programming that build social connections and nurture healthy behaviors; and creating awareness that our individual health and wellbeing is intrinsically linked to our broader environment and the people around us – a shift from “me” to “we”.
