Who am I?
Dear, My name is Vichhai and currently I am third-year student at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. My specialist is Hydrology and Water resources Engineering. Why do I choose to study in this Institute? The major reason is I have a deep interest in Technology, I want to know more about it and challenge myself to try and explore something new because I believe that technology I can help myself, support families, and improve my society to make our life easier in many different way by using technology.
I am just a simple boy who always have much more passion about something complicated and then try to solve it.

I was born in the countryside at Banteay Meanchey Province in 2005 in a poor family. I enrolled school when I was 6 years old at the primary school and I graduated form high school in 2023 when I was 18 years old. My life at the Banteay Meanchey province was beautiful and dynamic. Why I said that? I am a greatest son in my family who is going to work and study as well like I never free at the day because I help my parent working to earn more money to support the family and my study. Fortunately, I am a outstanding student at secondary school and I apply for scholarship at high school and I pass. This scholarship is from Child's Dream Cambodia https://childsdream.org/cambodia/support me for the whole 3 years. So needless to take my parent's money. After graduated from high school I'm also looking for scholarship to continue study at the University. The scholarship is from Enfants du Mékong https://www.enfantsdumekong.com/ which support for the whole 5 years.

My life goal is to build a meaningful, stable, and happy life where I can grow with confidence and become the best version of myself. In my studies, I aim to become strong in Hydrology and Water resources Engineering, and improve my English and presentation skills so I can succeed in my academic and future professional journey. In the short term, I want to focus on improving my speaking skills, managing my overthinking, staying consistent with my lessons, and building good habits that help me move one step closer to the successful life I dream of.

I like and respect Mr. Xi Jinping because of his strong character, discipline, and ability to stay focused even in difficult situations. His life shows resilience and patience, reminding me that success comes from hard work and determination. I also appreciate his commitment to continuous learning; he reads widely and values deep knowledge, which inspires me to study more seriously and improve myself every day.
His clear and confident communication teaches me how a leader should express ideas with purpose. He also thinks long-term, always planning ahead, which motivates me to set meaningful goals for my future. His emphasis on cultural values reminds me to stay connected to my identity and stay grounded no matter how far I go.
Because of these qualities discipline, knowledge, resilience, communication, and long-term vision I see him as a role model who encourages me to grow, stay focused, and work towards becoming a better version of myself.
My parents are my favorite people because they are the foundation of everything I am today. They support me in every situation, even when I make mistakes or feel lost. Their love is constant, patient, and unconditional—something I can depend on no matter what happens. I admire their strength, their sacrifices, and the way they keep working hard to give me a better future.
I respect them not only because they raised me, but because of their character. They teach me kindness, responsibility, and how to stay humble. Their advice guides me, their encouragement motivates me, and their belief in me gives me the confidence to keep moving forward.

I prefer self-study in a quiet environment because it helps me stay focused and understand lessons more clearly. When it’s quiet, my mind feels calm, and I can think better without distractions. It also helps me learn at my own pace, review difficult topics, and stay fully concentrated on what I’m studying. A quiet space makes my learning more effective and helps me remember things longer.
Making videos
I like making videos because it allows me to express my ideas in a creative and meaningful way. When I make a video, I can share my thoughts, experiences, and knowledge in a form that people can see and understand easily. It also helps me improve my communication skills, build confidence, and connect with others through visuals and storytelling. Making videos is not just fun—it’s a way for me to learn, grow, and show my creativity.
Traveling alone
I enjoy traveling alone because it gives me freedom to explore at my own pace and discover new places without depending on anyone. When I travel alone, I feel more independent, confident, and connected to myself. It helps me think clearly, understand my own thoughts, and learn how to handle challenges on my own.
