Next Generation Economics

The NGE network is dedicated to research that is likely to shape future debates.

We are a network of young economists at different stages in their career path, who are seeking to shape economic research and learn from each other through a constant exchange of research ideas, experiences and constructive feedback. Especially the bilateral office hours with our guests are a great opportunity for interested doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows to ask questions, get to know other researchers and expand their network.

“I had a fantastic time at the University of Hohenheim. Great place to visit, stimulating chats with lots of talented junior researchers, an engaged discussion and very useful comments during the seminar. The Next Generation Economics network is doing a wonderful job! ”

NGE has a great thematic focus. Importantly, I’m a big fan of the format of the seminar series, with lots of bilateral talks before and after the presentation. That’s very conducive to research development and collaboration.
