"GEOTECHNICAL MODELLING OF ROCK SLOPE AND TUNNELS"
The National Geotechnics Center proudly presents a one-day workshop on "Geotechnical Modelling of Rock Slope and Tunnels," featuring esteemed speakers from renowned institutions and industries. Dr. Eng. Imam Achmad Sadisun from the Bandung Institute of Technology, Dr. William Cheang from Seequent, and Dr. techn. Indra Noer Hamdhan from ITENAS, along with other experts, will share their knowledge and insights. This comprehensive workshop will cover various aspects of geotechnical modeling, providing participants with an in-depth understanding of slope stability analysis, PLAXIS geotechnical modeling, and advanced tunnel modeling techniques.
Scheduled for Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the Audio Visual Room in Building 12 of Itenas Campus, this event promises a full day of learning and hands-on exercises. Participants will have the opportunity to explore topics such as slope stability in discontinuous rocks, PLAXIS modeling for slopes and tunnels, and NATM tunnel modeling using PLAXIS 2D and 3D. Practical exercises will include tunnel excavation methods and rock slope modeling using the Hoek-Brown soil model.
