Nga Nguyen - Associate Professor - University of Wyoming
I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Vietnam in 2005 and 2007, respectively. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University in 2017 (supervised by Professor Joydeep Mitra), where I also worked as a postdoc until 2018.
I joined the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Wyoming in August 2018. My research interests include power system reliability, stability and control, renewable energy resources, and energy storage systems. I am also interested in the application of machine learning and quantum computing in power systems.
