Shé:kon! Katsi'tsohrónkwas iontiats! Curran here, and welcome to the NFSB Indigenous teaching capsules.

Available to you already are the FALL lesson ideas that I created earlier this year, and while we are waking up now into this very indecisive weather, I have crafted some lesson ideas that reflect that changes that come with a hopeful season: SPRING.

In this season, like the last, there will be lessons designated for each grade level from K-11; the elementary focus will look at the teachings of Indigenous perspectives of spring cross-curricularly. The secondary portion, however, will focus on the social studies discipline, offering a FRESH take on current curriculum; offering suggestions and considerations for how to fit Indigenous knowledge into your history classroom.
