As a Clinic Manager, I am deeply committed to enhancing patient care through innovative, compassionate, and evidence-based approaches.  In my role managing oncology, ambulatory care and endoscopy clinics I take pride in leading a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.  As I continue to grow in my career, I remain steadfast in my deadication to collaborating to advance healthcare and ensuring every patient and staff member recieves care, respect, and the support they deserve.

Who am I

I have been a Registered Nurse, member of the College of Nurses of Ontario since 1999. As a front-line staff RN, I gained experience as an informal leader in home care, acute medicine, post operative, palliative, day surgery, operating room, and surgical care specialties.  

Transition to Formal Leadership 

Presently I work at Joseph Brant Hospital, as the Clinical Manager of outpatient clinics. Many of these clinics are associated to  Regional Health Programs within the Hamilton Niagara Halton Brant Region (HNHB).  My direct reports include Nurses, Pacemaker Tech's, MRT's, Clerks, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, Personal Support Workers, and OR Tech's. Clinical responsibilities are also staff education, budget management, recruitment, policy development, project management, staff scheduling, clinic schedule management, quality care initiatives, Accreditation lead, procurement, HR and data analysis.

My core values align to that of the College of Nurses, " Innovation, Integrity, Collaboration, and Wellbeing". Situational leadership style is meaningful in my practice, adapting to change as new information comes forward.
