AuraaByte ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application, NFC Tools: Read & Write Tags (the "Application"), handles information when you use our services.
NFC Tag Data & Automation Records
All NFC reading, writing, editing, and task automation occur locally on your device.
Data read from or written to tags (such as text, URLs, contact records, or automation triggers) is processed within device memory or local storage. We do not transmit, collect, or store your tag payloads on external servers.
Device Permissions To deliver its core features, the Application may request access to:
NFC (android.permission.NFC): Required to scan, read, and write NFC tags.
System Settings / Connectivity (Optional for Tasks): If you configure automated tasks to toggle settings (such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or volume levels), the Application requests the minimum system permissions needed to execute those commands locally.
Automatically Collected Information (Analytics & Advertising) If third-party SDKs (e.g., Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics) are integrated:
They may automatically collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic information, such as device model, OS version, advertising ID (AAID), crash logs, and general usage metrics to optimize app stability and serve relevant advertisements.
The Application may utilize third-party libraries governed by their respective privacy policies:
Local Storage: Any profiles, saved records, or task templates you create are stored on your device and are deleted if you uninstall the app or clear app data.
Security: Because sensitive tag interactions remain local, your data is protected by Android’s standard sandboxing and security model.
The Application is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we can take corrective action.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We advise you to review this page occasionally for updates. Changes become effective immediately upon being posted.
